Our Mission

The mission of Johnson County Middle School is to provide a safe, non-threatening, enriching environment in which students achieve successful transitions between elementary and high school, as they meet and exceed academic standards for the middle grades.

Bullying Prevention for Parents

Middle school. It’s the transition from childhood to adolescence—when children become more independent and want to make choices for themselves. They are also in a developmental period when friends and social circles are increasingly important. And it’s the time when children can experience bullying most. If you have questions about bullying and what to do about it, check out this resource for tips and information on it.
