The counseling department at JCMS has a lot to offer students and families.
Our school counselor is Mrs. Juli. She can assist with short-term individual and group counseling.
What she can assist with:

- Locating community resources for families
- Provides short-term counseling using solution-focused therapy
- Serves ALL students and faculty
- Provides SEL lessons to whole groups and small groups

Meet your School Counselor!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Juli, and I am excited to begin my fourth year as the school counselor at Johnson County Middle School.
I earned my Associate's Degree from Northeast State Community College in 2019 before continuing my education at East Tennessee State University (ETSU). I received my Bachelor's Degree in Human Services with a minor in Educational Foundations in 2021 and completed my Master's Degree in School Counseling in 2023.
As the school counselor, I am passionate about helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. My goal is to ensure every student feels supported, valued, and equipped with the skills they need to be successful both inside and outside the classroom. Whether students need someone to talk to, help navigating challenges, or encouragement to reach their goals, I am here to support them every step of the way.
I look forward to partnering with our students, families, and staff to make this another wonderful year at JCMS. My door is always open!
